Customization
One of the key reasons that women choose the Impact Center’s Women’s Leadership Fellows program is the attention we give to the individual needs of each participant. From pairing her with a mentor who has a unique understanding of her needs to the skills she develops throughout the year, we design a fellowship experience for each woman that provides the specific components she needs to succeed.
Collaboration
Not only do Fellows share a common desire to foster their own abilities as leaders, they are also actively empowering those around them and working to a positive societal impact in everything they do. Fellows are encouraged to not only think about what they need, but also to consider what they have to give. Fellows create a community of support and are enthusiastic about opening their networks to their peers for access to high-impact leaders and life-changing career opportunities.
Real-Time Support
Women in this program also benefit from the experience and guidance of mentors, peers and subject-matter experts without missing a beat in their jobs. Our fellows engage in this program while continuing their current employment and therefore, the advice and strategies they receive can be immediately implemented in their day-to-day professional lives. Each fellow benefits from ongoing, real-time analysis and problem solving. The Impact Center monitors each fellow’s progress through consultations with the fellow and her mentor as well as through assessments that bring in the insights of those who work around her to ensure that the progress being made is reflected in all aspects of her professional life.
Cross-Sector Approach
The outstanding women in this Fellowship represent the best and brightest rising stars in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Our cross-sector approach enriches the experience for all participants by opening a window into different approaches to problem solving, management and career mapping in different industries. Although these women come from such diverse professional fields as the arts, education, government, medicine, and technology, each one has each achieved impressive success early in her career and now faces new challenges as she moves into a more significant leadership role.
