Katharine Hart
Katharine Hart is a senior at the University of Virginia studying Environmental Thought & Practice and Biology with a Specialization in Environmental and Biological Conservation and a minor in English. She first joined The Impact Center as a Summer Intern in 2022 and 2023 and is excited to return as a Consultant.
Katharine is excited to bring her strengths in communication, facilitation, and collaboration to her role at The Impact Center. Her previous experiences as an Environmental Communications Intern, Nature Play Program Co-Director, UVA Nature Connection Lab Assistant Leader, and Coastal Environmental Education Intern contributed to her skill set in program design, material development, content strategy execution, mentorship, and empathy-driven leadership. At UVA, Katharine is a Features Writer for V Magazine and a Student Docent at The Fralin Museum of Art, where she applies her passions for writing and the arts to community education.
Katharine is from Falls Church, Virginia, and outside of the office, she can be found anywhere in nature, enjoying a long run, surrounded by friends and family, or immersed in a book.
